Hi everyone! I’m an Industrial Designer based in Japan. For many years, I’ve used SolidWorks for product development. While I have a solid understanding of manufacturing, my focus has always been on the design and aesthetic side. I also use Blender extensively for rendering and animation, but I found that precision modeling for industrial design in Blender can be quite challenging. That’s why I’m turning to Plasticity. I'm exploring it as a "3D sketching" and "rough design" tool to quickly iterate concepts before moving to the final CAD stages. Since my English is limited, I’m using AI to help me communicate. I've heard Nikita mention class a modeling many times in several different courses. It peaked my interest so I had a little look at what exactly that is. And holy sweet jesus... Don't get me wrong, this guy does an excellent job of explaining how to watch paint dry in slow motion.... Lolol.
