Gonna be blunt here mate, yeah this is something you should fix. Writing intellectual essays can be more than just an assignment at school, it could turn into a hobby even. Having to go and get a robot to write something based off the data it gets from the internet for your topic is dumb, because, shocker, most of the people on the aforementioned internet are equally as retarded. To answer your second question, no one has ever said writing shit down on things makes people forget stuff, since we've had civilization we've had tablets being carved into, for things as small as transactions. Ai and books are not the same thing, Ai generalizes info, while books specialize.

@Julian K If you're even slightly an intellectual, you read and/or write consistently. It's the only way to get out ideas that really mean something to the world. If you don't find yourself writing, or reading other's work, then you just have nothing intelligent to add, which in and of itself is more telling about the kind of person you are, a retard. No one who at least graduated college is preaching about how "not everyone wants or needs to be able to write". Ignorant people who have nothing important to say however, don't condone academic literature and would rather look at an AI overview of an article that's only 11 pages long.
