The most terrifying thing, I actually spoke, face on, on the camera! Ok I hid behind a book for some of it, but I challenged myself and I did it! I just watched it and it was very cringe, I daren't watch before as I would never have published it, so the audio is a bit off, and I am sure my face looks unnaturally red but I did it! I had one major event where I did have to stop and start when I knocked a lamp over but I jumped right back in and made myself finish! I tried my daughter's iPhone to take some photos in the garden the other day, and the colour and cinematic mode are amazing in the newer phones! So much better than the old camera that I have!

Hi everyone!! Thank you for welcoming me into this beautiful group. I’m a 63 year old who embraces life with a full heart no matter the situation. We only have one life to live and it’s important to make difference. My YouTube channel is called “Memories & Must Haves”. My channel focus is on lifestyle, wellness (I have an PhD in Naturopathic medicine) and exercise with some storytelling. Since I’ve had to do a keto reset, that’s been my focus. Oh, and we’re kind of homesteaders where we could live completely off grid 😊. I live in the middle of 50 acres just outside of New Orleans but was raised in Columbus, Ohio. I joined or rewatched the group videos and everyone shares so much information that I’ve enjoyed hearing. I look forward to talking with each of you.

So I logged in the other day to YouTube and I had like a row of videos on my home page with pretty much the same title: It took me 50 Years To Learn... I have never watched one of these videos before, so wondered where they came from, but I guess the really viral ones get pushed everywhere! So all of these videos had massive views. Well having listened to others in the chat here talking about the YT research stuff, I had a look at a couple of the channels and these channels were not big, some had under 100 views on most of their videos, then the viral title blew up with thousands and thousands of views. Anyone feel like making one to see what happens lol? They are actually pretty much identical in format and the opening sentences of the two I had a look at were almost the same. My view is probably unpopular, it often is lol, but I don't like this trend at all, and I really wish YouTube would stop it and do more to encourage unique channels. I don't think it is good for creators or viewers in the long run. It is interesting though, as I said I have never studied YouTube algorithms or statistics etc before, and the psychology is fascinating! On another note, I was listening to a favourite song in the background while working and then another one came on that I hadn't heard before, and I assumed it was anew one by the same artist... hell no, it was freakin' AI!!!! Stop the bus, I wanna get off and go back to the last stop.
