$48 for $1386 worth of content
Hey guys, I wanted to let you all in on a program I bought yesterday and can already tell is going to be an absolute bargain. Anthony Gallo, the guy behind the Content Creators YouTube channel with almost 500K subscribers, has released a teaching course, and I for one am all in. Here is a screenshot of what you get and a link to the website if you are interested. https://www.contentcreator.com/14-day-smartphone-filmmaker-course

This has been so worth the money, it is literally a step by step guide on how to everything, there is even a step by step guide on using different editing software like CapCut, Premiere Pro, Da Vinci Resolve ect
Absolute elite-level trolling by Claude in their new Super Bowl ads.
Open AI’s Chat GPT are going to start running ads in free Chat GPT because they’re losing millions. Their business plan from a couple years ago relied on them being the dominant player with more people using their paid subscription model. They thought that they would have such a first mover advantage that they would forever be Coke and everyone else would be fighting it out to be Pepsi🤪 But Google’s Gemini and Anthropic’s Claude have now caught up and I think are even better in some ways. One of the best comments I saw on X responding to Sam Altman (CEO of OpenAI): “Anthropic: makes funny ad about ad-driven Al. Sam: writes 400-word defensive essay calling them authoritarian, deceptive, and elitist The ad hit a nerve. Wonder why.” Do you pay for ChatGPT or any other AI?

I have never used Claude, maybe it is time to take it for a dance
Great news for vloggers!
Am most of the way through listening to this but if you're a vlogger here is encouragement from Sean Cannell about vlogging! This is what this video covers: 0:00 Why vlogging is back on YouTube 1:20 The state of vlogging in 2026 2:32 How YouTube is taking over the living room 7:47 Why 30 minutes is the ideal video length 11:00 Short videos fried our brains & now we want depth 15:17 The algorithm doesn’t care who you are... only what you talk about 23:33 Vlogs aren’t dead. The old way of vlogging is. 32:10 Why real beats perfect now. (The winning vlogging formula) 39:23 Window of Opportunity & why most people quit too early

Living a minimalistic lifestyle is teaching me that decluttering the home is only one step to achieving mental peace and clarity. People want a simpler life but alot of people don't seem to realise that 50% of the clutter that distracts us is digital, apps that we don't use, notifications popping up all the time, albums with videos and pictures that we don't look at or watch, alot of the stuff we don't use or need is actually on our phones and other digital devices. Minimalism is not about getting rid of everything, it is about living with purpose, prioritising things that make our life easier, help us to move toward our desired goal, living with purpose, getting rid of things that no longer serve us. By getting rid of things that are of no use to us allows us to make space for things that we need, like everything in life we can't grow if we do not make space for us to grow into, expand into. Vlogging is a skill that i am eager to learn to improve my channel and to make that learning a reality means unsubscribing to channels i no longer watch and rather than doom scrolling i now search with intent, looking for videos and channels that help me get to where i want to be. This community, all of our community members play a big part in supporting us all on our journey because we have people that are just starting, are already on the journey and people who have established themselves and can guide us with things we may struggle with. I said it before and i will say it again, this community is the greatest thing that YouTube has given me 🙂

@Karen Taylor I think it all comes back to slowing down and being present in the moment. When we are going full speed, it is easy to not notice amazing things around us, opportunities that present themselves and this in turn can lead to creator burnout, which we all know about.
How much do you use VidIQ? I've just changed a bunch of titles.
I have the basic paid subscription to Vid IQ and I use it to give me basic guidance when uploading videos. To help remind me to use end cards etc. and to score my title, thumbnail and description. I was digging around in there last night and asked it for 'optimisation' help on videos on my channel and saw a lot of videos with titles that scored low (like 44/100 or 60/100). If you use Vid IQ and haven't nosied around into it much like I hadn't, it was good to float back over old videos before I had Vid IQ and swap out titles (video below is showing you how it works). I only picked titles that were true for my video and - being old videos it doesn't matter that much but while watching the new Knives Out movie it was the perfect computer job to tootle around with. Do you use either free or paid Vid IQ much and if so, what do you use it for? Signed, Major Underuser of VidIQ.

I think primarily for the Ai coach and the direct access to YouTube analytics VidIQ is just easier than ChatGPT,

What's the longest you've ever gone not posting any videos?
I'm hitting 4 weeks now, with a new long form video coming out this weekend. This will be the longest time for me I think and while it's not ideal, I am OK with it. I've been wrestling with a couple of script outline-y thingy's for this and the next video and been tempted to just roll with an outline I had a couple weeks ago but then changed my mind. I've not yet filmed a video I wasn't 100% onboard with so why start now? And of course been enjoying doing group lives so that always fills my cup. What's your longest time without posting any videos and why? PS. Pinched this wall art idea from seeing this video from Peter McKinnon when he was visiting the Epidemic Sound studios! I made it in Canva - let me know if you want a copy and I'll drop it in here.

@Just Krista thank you, I have recently realised I was fighting a mental health battle that I wasn't even aware of so I have referred myself to see a counsellor, tomorrow is my second session with her so hoping to see improvement
