Retirement (for me) has proven to be more than just a condition you find yourself in.... I was born in Lubbock Texas,, ( THE PANHANDLE ) raised on and taught Cowboy ethics,, (God, Family, County and State) but also that ALL PEOPLE COUNT!!! That a Man or Woman's worth and value is measured on his or hers commitment and honor shown to All the Above and to how,, WORK AND PROVIDE THEIR FAMILY'S.. I've WORKED ( HARD,, AN HONEST) over 56 years,,, THEN CAME RETIREMENT!! I still wake up at 3:30 am. BUT have NO JOB to go too.... I HAVE NO JOB !!! The EMOTIONAL STRAIN of that STATEMENT has been HARD on me!! I HAVE CONTINUED TO " DO SOMETHING QI EVERYDAY" And it has helped,, a lot!! But also HAD to learn the difference between "I DON'T HAVE A JOB" and "I DON'T NEED A JOB" also that "SOCIAL SECURITY AND PENSION IS NOT CHARITY" NOR ASSISTANCE FOR THE UNEMPLOYED,,, BUT A MONETARY RETURN ON ONE'S LONG TERM SELF-INVESTMENT!! NOW THAT'S ("RUNNING OFF AT THE MOUTH") SORRY GUYS AND GALS,, BUT I NEEDED TO GET OUT OF MY SYSTEM!!! "I'M BACK"!!! PLEASE ACCEPT MY APOLOGIES FOR MY SILENCE AN ABSENCE FROM THE GROUP!! "LET'S DO SOMETHING QI TODAY,, EVERYDAY" AND BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY,,, "SOMETHING WONDERFUL IS HAPPENING"!!! SOMETHING WONDERFUL HAS HAPPENED FOR ME!!!

If you don’t see results, you get tired. If you don’t feel anything, you start to doubt. If something doesn’t move you, you discard it. If something doesn’t motivate you, you abandon it. Maybe today you feel like you’re not moving forward, like practicing feels hard, like you’re repeating the same thing, like you always end up back at the same point, like the silence feels empty. And then comes the day when the temptation to leave appears. To leave the practice, to leave the silence, to leave yourself. But if you stay, even if you don’t see, don’t feel, don’t understand, something begins to fall into place inside you, something begins to be cleansed, something becomes more true. Changes don’t happen all at once. They happen slowly, with consistency, with faithfulness. Transformation is already happening even if you can’t see it. What truly transforms you is not the intensity with which you live things, but how faithfully you remain in them. Roots grow in the dark, not on the surface. What today feels barren will be support tomorrow. What today feels useless will be a foundation tomorrow. Nothing lived with faithfulness is ever lost. Don’t try to feel more—try to be faithful. If today you’re tired, don’t force yourself to feel. Just stay. Breathe. Remain in silence.

Back in August, who would have thought we would build a Tai Chi community of over 100,000 people practicing together from all over the world. This journey has been incredibly humbling, and we’re deeply grateful to every single one of you who has been here, practicing, watching, and growing with us.
