The Lesson a Plant Manager Taught Me About the Value of Marketing
Years ago, a plant manager told me something that completely changed the way I look at business: โ€œRodolfo, your company is excellent and youโ€™ve provided us with service for more than 10 years. But inside the plant, nobody knows you. You need to start working more on your marketing and make yourselves known to the people.โ€ That comment opened my eyes. Itโ€™s not enough to do great work or have loyal clients. If people donโ€™t know you, your business becomes invisible inside organizations and in the market. This experience left me with three powerful lessons: 1. Quality is not enough: You can be excellent at what you do, but if you donโ€™t communicate it, you donโ€™t exist. 2. Visibility opens doors: The more people know who you are and what you offer, the more opportunities will come your way. 3. Marketing is an investment, not an expense: It multiplies the years of hard work and takes your business to another level. Many entrepreneurs think marketing is secondary, but the truth is itโ€™s the bridge that connects your value to the right people. Today Iโ€™ll leave you with this question: Is your business truly visible, or is it only known by a few?

Exactly! How are your future clients to find you if they don't know you exist? โญ
The Untold Rule of Business Growth: Price Increases Are Non-Negotiable
A long-time client once came to renegotiate a multi-year contract for 50 part numbers. The truth is that I was exhausted with those products. Margins were thin and they required too much care to produce. So I applied what I learned from Alex Hormoziโ€™s 100M Offers. I raised prices. Not by 20 percent. I went three to five times higher. I knew I might lose sales and I was okay with that. The buyer was not happy. Out of 50 part numbers I lost 40. But here is the key: my profits increased by more than 200 percent. I only had to produce 10 part numbers instead of 50, and I manufactured the entire yearly order in just two weeks. I then delivered it gradually throughout the year. One year later the same client returned and added 10 more part numbers, accepting another price increase. Here is why this matters beyond my story: Inflation eats margins silently. In Mexico, inflation has averaged 4 to 5 percent annually in recent years. If you do not raise prices, you are effectively giving clients a discount every year. Costs never stop rising. From raw materials to energy and labor, manufacturers know production inputs climb 5 to 10 percent every year. Your time has value. By cutting product volume but tripling prices, I freed up hours to focus on more profitable projects. The lesson for every business owner: Raising prices is not optional. It is mandatory. Do not wait until the end of the year. It is harder to push one big increase than to adjust gradually every month or every six months. Yes, you may lose some sales. But you will gain higher profits, more free time, and stronger control over your operation. That is the real win-win.

Results from ExpoPyME 2025
Attending ExpoPyME this past week was an opportunity to put my company, Regio Partes Industriales, in front of some of the top companies in the region. I approached it with the mindset of preparation, execution, and measurable results. Preparation: I sent more than 70 meeting requests. Seven were confirmed and scheduled, each with a maximum time of 45 minutes. I thoroughly studied each company in advance and prepared tailored pitches that addressed their specific pain points. Tuesday Scheduled meetings: 4 Unscheduled meetings: 4 Total: 8 From the scheduled meetings, 3 approved follow ups, which I consider a major success. Walking the show floor also gave me the chance to reconnect with buyers I had interacted or worked with before, leading to additional meetings. Wednesday Scheduled meetings: 3 Unscheduled meetings: 6 Total: 9 From the scheduled meetings, 2 approved follow ups. In addition, the event managers created a new area where chamber of commerce members could line up for unscheduled meetings with top companies. I attended 6 meetings there and received 5 follow up approvals. Biggest WinBeyond the new connections, I was able to interact with many current client buyers. These conversations allowed me to review important information and apply immediate improvements to my business. Live networking event like this reaffirmed for me that preparation, persistence, and proactive networking bring results.

FB ADS CAMPAIGN #2 - DAY 2
First day results are here. Who wouldโ€™ve guessed, the meme ad is leading the charge. Some results. - Age group is staying as predicted per last campaign. 40-65), since I adjusted it accordingly there are better results and its costing way less per click. - Texas is now leading the charge. - As the meme is leading the charge and 2 ads are not generating, I will change them tomorrow for more memes to run the weekend. - The ads that are not generating had a fair share of reproductions but no clicks, so off they go. I'm sharing the translation for the meme: Winnie pooh poor: Paying your credit card minimums. Winnie pooh rich: Getting paid cashback by the bank. Any questions feel free to ask.
