Agreed with James. It’s not something I would recommend relying on. You’re going to have days that feel a bit off or you feel more tired but that’s completely normal, that’s life! It’s the showing up & the consistency where you see the progress 💪
Hidden Veg Pasta Sauce
This is such a good way to get lots of veggies & fibre in! Can use this for bolognese, chilli, curry base, pasta, rice etc! I have BULK PREPPED this for the new year and made 7 Tupperwares of roughly 440g sauce each (same as a jar you would buy from the shop but you know exactly what's in it!). METHOD: - Dice all your veg & add to a roasting tin - Cut top of garlic and place open side up - Drizzle with 1-2 tbsp of olive oil (optional but make sure to track in cals!) - Roast in oven for 50 mins or until all veg is soft - Squeeze out the garlic. - Blend, add to a saucepan, add 2 large jars of passata and season to taste. - Split into Tupperwares & fridge/freeze until use! Mine has worked out at 204 cals per Tupperware & 10g fibre. Will differ depending on size/type of veg, how much you use, how many servings you make etc so to track make sure to create it as a 'Recipe' on our app or MyFitnessPal!

Tough week.
This week has been a tough one — I haven’t been feeling 100% thanks to TOTM, and with my work Christmas party, I haven’t been as consistent as I’d like, especially with tracking. That said, today I’m setting myself up for success for the week ahead: • Scheduling my gym sessions in my calendar • Steps, steps, steps every day, rain or shine • Getting back to tracking my food daily • Prepping lunches for the week The lead-up to Christmas is all about maintenance mode. Staying on track, focusing on small wins, and showing up for myself each day is the goal 💪✨

Big increase from last week & again most since having Mia 🩷 Worked out I need to average 12k for rest of month to still hit the 350,000 🙌

@Simon Johnson that’s a talent! 😂 I’m usually on 1k by the time I get up in morning now - getting up, breastfeeding, changing nappies etc 😂
Rice
Question. When tracking rice, is it the cooked or pre-cooked weight to be recorded?

If you do want to weigh it out cooked though just make sure the one you add is the cooked calories e.g searching ‘cooked white long grain rice’ Same for chicken, pasta, anything that is cooked. Which ever way you are weighing it out you need to add the correct one (as it weighs different once cooked!)
