Sales Call – Prospect Laughs "Classic Sales Strategy"
So i had a intro call and everythings going well and hes talking a lot and telling me all his pain points, and theres a part where I rub in on the pain point: Me: "Do you feel like referrals will realistically get you to your goals in 90 days?" Prospect: "Is this the psychological technique in sales where I sell myself my pain point" I know these techniques. Me: Laughing, okay okay, but if you use referrals are you going to get those clients that you want? Prospect: I'll get the clients but itll take forever. --- Then trial close ---- Me: If our services make sense, how soon would you be willing to move forward?" Prospect: "oohhh the classic" Me interrupting: "im just trynna see how soon you'd like to move forward" Still booked a second call. Beginning of the call he liked the things i was saying (I told him we figure out your target audience, find their pain point, craft an offer around it, then create the right messaging) and he said "I like that, every damn marketer sounds the same but you know what it means to solve problems" At the end of the call, i followed my framework and hes like "just be straight up with me" LOL I hope this didnt hurt my sale.
