Will I get a truck for Halloween? 🛻
What a great call this morning with @Michelle McCartney and @Olga Medina ! I took the day off yesterday with my husband and we went horse back riding (gift from a friend as a nudge to take time for ourselves as a couple). We had some deep conversations and long silences and took some decisions. Everything is not 100% clear just yet but we took one decision. It's bold, it's big but we are determined. 20 new clients by Halloween. And if we do it, we are buying a truck! I am usually setting action based goals more than numbers but this one really make sense for both of us and we came up with it together after a few different discussions on different topics so it's a meaningful goal. I am going to set action based goals based on this number goal. And the first one is doing more outreaches. Let's start this week with 10 outreach per day. Question: What do you consider outreach? Does it have to be business (pitching something) or is connecting in the DM on different topics also considered outreach towards the challenge?

@Michelle McCartney What are we considering as outreach? only DMs? (I've been replying to all the comments in the post I made in Skoolers which now has 149 like and 217 comments... is that considered outreach?)
@Michelle McCartney Sounds good!

😍 I feel restored and am making this a weekly tradition
This weekend I took Sunday off work and now I think i'm going to implement a day of rest EVERY week. Here's how I plan on making this a weekly ritual: 🦋 prepping everything the day before so that all my weekend tasks are completed on Saturday. 🌈 start the day with an online church service and a hearty breakfast. ☀️ play together, as a family. 😍 enjoy some personalized study/reading time. ❤️ end the day with a nice family clean up so we can start the morning fresh. Do you take a day off a week with your family to rest and restore?
😍 I feel restored and am making this a weekly tradition
I like to protect my Friday morning for myself and I try not to work on the week-ends (except Sunday evening after kids bedtime for my Power Hour. I find myslef checking skool once in a while but I am trying to be better at staying away from my phone lately. I also have a sticker on my tumbler that says "Rest is productive" because I grew up in a family where we always had to "do" something and we were always working on something and that is exhausting! Trying to be more intentional with my time and more present as well.
😜Is your networking ACTUALLY helping?
When I first started entrepreneurship, everyone told me that networking was key. I spent SO many hours connecting with every business owner or entrepreneur possible and it did absolutely NOTHING for me. Why? Because people who have tons of time on their hands have nothing else to do and someone who has nothing else to do is probably not growing a thriving business or actually having impact. 🌈The quality of WHO you are networking with MATTERS. This is why I only network based off of the Dream 100 nowadays and why I believe it is the only way to make progress. 😍This is also how I connected personally with someone who is friends with Alex Hormozi himself. Here's how it works: 1. 📈Come up with a strategy. Only outreach to people that are going to move your business forward. Not everyone is a good collaboration or networking partner. Use your time wisely. 2. 💃Write up 100 people that you would LOVE to collaborate or connect with personally. Go as dreamy and pie-in-the-sky as you want! We are only 7 degrees of separation from everybody so you have to believe that you can connect with ANYBODY. 3. 🤝Determine which ones of these people you have the closest connections with. You may not know a specific high level coach but if you purchased their program/mastermind/cohort then you would be in their inner circle. Maybe one of their prodigees has an affordable membership/program you can invest in to get 1 degree closer. Determine which ones you could probably work towards. 4. 👋Start working through the web. Map out who knows who. Then start working your way up the ladder. You might have to get well known in their groups, skool communities, buy a program to get into their inner circle, or win a competition. Get KNOWN by them and build up good will. 5. 😁See how you can help them. ⭐Everybody needs SOMETHING. Figure out the biggest pain point they have and solve it. See if you can get them to introduce you to someone else that's on your list that you had your eyes on.

I host co-working calls in my productivity community and it's been SO helpful for my members. We usually do 2 Pomodoro sessions with a 5 minute movement break in the middle. It's very fun and super motivating!
