Soil Health, Human Health & Planetary Well-Being: Pathways for Regenerative Economies
Being a part of the Presencing Institute community since it's very beginning, and have used TheoryU in the design of many gatherings that I have hosted and facilitated. I joined the first of five global gatherings yesterday. They hosted a 90-minute session with over 700 participants weaving together stories, music, breakout conversations, and collective reflection to explore the living connections between regenerative agriculture, human health, and new economic possibilities. I'm sharing a few of the images and phrases that stuck with me: Planting new seeds for new ways From extraction to regeneration Agriculture is culture Native bees are almost extinct Fall in love with the problem Both special guests were touched by a calling and curiosity to do something different with their lives. Despite their fear they allowed themselves to feel into it, to take risks because they had a strong belief in the importance of their ideas, and the impact they could have on people and the planet. They decided to experiment with what they were curious about and each took small steps with purpose, being brave enough to take the next step without having the answers. Christa was activated by soil, farming and community. Zuzanna by creating caring farmer communities. Christa went on to say that she surrendered to the process. Special Guests: Christa Barfield, Zuzanna Zielińska

@Nadene Canning AND me too. I agree with you Nadene.
@Nadene Canning are these calls similar to the ones they did last year around this time? I have not registered and will have to check my emails for the way to do this, hoping I will have time. Thank you for sharing.
Accelerating the SDGs - hosted by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN)
Today I attended this webinar exploring strategies to accelerate SDG progress, including regional integration, reforms to the global financial architecture, and improved planning. The discussion was moderated by Maria Cortés-Puch, SDSN Vice President of Networks, and featured: - Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, UN Special Envoy on Financing the 2030 Agenda - H.E. Ms. Patricia Espinosa, Ambassador and CEO & Founding Partner, Onepoint5 - Mme. Bineta Diop, Founder and President, Femmes Africa Solidarité, and Former AU Special Envoy on Women, Peace, & Security - Nardos Berehe, SDSN Youth Project Lead, Global Networks - Prof. Jeffrey Sachs, President of the SDSN My notes from the session (not perfect and only what resonated the most) All speakers life work has been devoted to making the world a better place in their respective regions of the world and through their expertise, governance and policy work internationally. The global financial system is unfair and has put the developing countries in a crippling position trying to manage insurmountable debt and needs to be revised. Jeffrey Sachs spoke clearly about the USA being at war with the rest of the world in alarming, shocking unprecedented level of aggression to maintain their worldview. He criticized global leaders for their lack of courage and urged them to find their voice and unify. There is a clear connection between peace, security, justice, gender equity and climate emissions. We need to keep the score as the "developing world" has caused the problem yet are not committing the required funds ( an estimated 4 Trillion USD, up from 2.4 Trillion) to help mitigate the problem. THE BIGGEST polluter is the USA and they have opted out of all agreements that render them accountable. The resistance is clear from wealthy countries who need to increase their financial contribution. The world IS NOT DIVIDED, the USA is creating a narrative of division and chaos in an attempt to maintain control of the global order.
Thank you Nadene. I am curious and hope that I will find the time to listen in to this.
Three things - 2 already happened - and the 3rd one is next week :-)
Hello Community here's what's new in the ID@Work Community: 1. 🤖 Human Skills for the AI Era We had such a rich conversation in our Skill Builder on Tuesday, exploring the intersection of AI, the heart, and the mind — sparked by Daniel Pink's A Whole New Mind. We asked: what do we bring that's irreducibly human? What came up in our discussion: 🌍 Context and culture — AI generates content, but humans understand why this story, for these people, right now 🌸 Embodied and feminine knowing — Nadene named it: AI was largely built without women at the table. That shapes what gets captured and what gets flattened. 🤝 Presence — touch, laughter, tears. We can't prompt for that. 💡 Forward thinking + emotional connection — imagining futures we haven't lived yet, holding space for what's unspoken --- 2. 🧪 Sales Lab Recap: Resistance vs Resonance When a client pushes back with "prove it works" or "how do we measure this?", they're not saying no. They're saying: I'm not sure this is safe yet. We explored how to decode those signals — how to hear what's underneath the language of ROI and scalability, and find the entry point that actually resonates. Nadene shared a beautiful metaphor: it's like sowing seeds in soil. You don't force the seed. You read the soil. The recording and updated slides will be available in the community for our Premium members shortly. Here's where you can upgrade to Premium. --- 3. 📅 Skill Builder next Tuesday: 'What do you do when people don't want to collaborate?' Next Tuesday's Skill Builder session takes on one of the most common (and quietly exhausting) challenges in inner development work: what happens when the very people who need to collaborate... don't want to. Open to all members. See you next Tuesday, March 24th, bright and early at 8.30 am CET --- As always, drop your questions, reflections, or encouragements in the comments.

Thank you @Sarah Santacroce @Nadene Canning for continuously sparkling the conversations. Apologies for my absence - I have missed being present in the last few weeks. I will not be present Tuesday due to timing but present in spirit this week as the topic is of interest. To this week’s question I ask: - what makes me/ you /us believe that they are the ones who “need to” collaborate? - I ask myself: what am I doing that may not encourage them to be present / to collaborate in the way that I would like them to? - What / how else to they contribute? Wishing you a fun & collaborative conversation 😀
What is community to you?
Most communities don’t fail because of content. They fail because of how people feel inside them. And this is where psychology come in. Not in a weird way. In a very practical way. Because every community creates a kind of “state” in people. 👉 Some feel safe to share 👉 Some just observe 👉 Some feel pressure 👉 Some disappear And that’s not random. It’s influenced by things like: – The way we write our posts – The expectations we set (or don’t set) – How we respond to people – How clear the structure is Small things… big impact. For example: If everything feels “too perfect” → people hold back If everything feels chaotic → people get lost If nobody leads → nobody moves What I’ve learned: People engage when it feels easy and safe enough. People engage around topics of interest People engage to share I’m curious: Have you thought about what community feels like for you?
What is community to you?
trusting that when we do not interact for some time, that we can come back and do so and be seen and heard without judgement
"3 Things that Great Thinkers Do, That Most People Don't"
Daniel Pink first came to my attention many years ago with his book "A Whole New Mind - Why Right Brain-ers Will Rule the Future". He's written seven bestselling nonfiction books on a range of topics, from human motivation to the science of timing to a graphic novel career guide. This 3min video he posted earlier this week on multiple platforms and I shared it on LinkedIn and here with you. Our invitation is to get more curious about it in our THINKING Skill Builder next Tuesday February 24th at 12.30 and we hope you'll be able to join. You can find the link to the call in the calendar. If you aren't able to join us, do let us know your thoughts in the comments 🤓 https://www.instagram.com/reel/DU6EL56jB2b/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet&igsh=ZDNlZDc0MzIxNw==

Thank you @Katarina Halm for sharing. I have read & watched a video of Dan Pink sharing but not y complete book. And it has been a while. I appreciate this perspective. Thank you for hosting on Tuesday @Nadene Canning @Sarah Santacroce and for those present. Always a pleasure to consider such perspectives. In connecting with the IDGuide, I have been captured by the Longterm Orientation & Visioning, to give me perspective on my future :-)
