Can I get feedback on this pre-auction email?
Client is a fitness/weight loss coach who helps busy dads and professional men get into great shape even if they've got limited time and demanding careers. This email would be going out to his email list of 10k subscribers to see if there's interest in auctioning off his most premium package. Here's what the client said about that: "If it helps make the auction offer more irresistible, I'd be willing to offer ONE of my $12k equivalent packages: 6 month pay for results gaurantee of losing 20-50 lbs or reaching 10-15% body fat, 6 months of 1:1 private coaching with me as the founder, plus an elite dedicated nutrition, exercise, and performance coach. Includes weekly private feedback and insights from me, monthly 15-30 min private performance session with me as needed, initial and quarterly at home men's hormone and longevity blood work test and analysis." So I wrote up the following and wanted to get your feedback before shooting it over to him. My thinking was to use a client result as a lead-in to hit on the benefits + a bit of identity, but not sure if it's too long, not simple/clear enough or if I should switch up the approach. Would love to know your thoughts! ======================================== Subject: Crazy idea? (need your input) Body: Hey, One of our tribe members, Brom, has seen some massive changes in his life. He's lost 30 pounds (and is now the lightest he's been in over a decade)... Saved a ton of money cancelling the heart surgery he had planned (because all of his issues are now gone)... And he's sustained these results for over 12 months. But I think even better than all that... Is how he’s become an incredible role model for his kids and family. In fact, he's even noticed his son start to exercise more and make active changes that will improve his life long-term. Isn't that incredible? And it's all because Brom made a decision: “I’ve chosen to be a fit, healthy dad.” So this got me thinking... What if I opened up ONE spot…

My experience with this is the faster and more intensely you can lead with what they want - the better response you're going to get. Look at Travis' pre pre (pre?) auction post here. https://www.skool.com/ronin/i-promote-you?p=21031469 Loaded with gimme gimme gimme from the jump. In his post there's lots of ways that you can see how it could work for you. It's believable and doable. And sounds like a fun time. Auctions are an excuse for fun. There's a little bit of proof in there about other people, but mostly it's exciting for the reader. For your current thing - maybe the thing that they want is that 10-15% body fat and the family joining in. But you gotta say it in a way that they could see it in their daily life. It's whatever people are dm-ing your offer owner about to work with him. A headline that works great for us... '[the thing they actually want] — would you bid $1?' For Travis it was "I get YOU partners🫵". For your dads it might be something completely different. But it's gotta be the thing that makes them go 'hell yes I want that' before they even read the rest." The Brom story is proof. But it's not their story. They're going to jump up and down when they can clearly see THEIR FUTURE looking different. I write this as someone who's seen a bunch of auctions that flopped because they don't crank that gimme engine hard enough to spark people's desire. I flopped some of my own too : ) But they spark up again if you go after what people really want.
Pre Auction Post - "Dr. flies to you" increases doability?
Hey @Travis Sago, quick question about this pre-auction post that @Nick Roberts and I are building for a doctor who reverses type 2 diabetes. The doctor is open to flying out to the winner and helping them in person - going through their kitchen, walking their grocery store, the whole thing. Right now we have that teased after the proof story - like this '(If there's enough interest I might even fly out and build it with you in person. Still kicking that idea around.)' You'll see it in the doc attached below. Question: Does it make sense to frontload that into the transformation section to make the whole thing feel more certain and doable? Or is it better where it is as a bonus tease after they're already sold on the transformation? https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gZ82PCeu2DNk7vL3afHrpid9FVwhwigLb9kXisUjntA/edit?tab=t.0

CDOD: What's The Real Issue Here?
Had an email exchange with a fitness/weight loss coach who was receptive to the idea of auctions at first (I started by sending him the 7-minute auction explainer video, which got him interested enough to send me details about his list/offer and book a call). But overnight he pulled a total 180, canceled the call and sent me the attached screenshot below. Bummer. My understanding is that auctions are something you can run regularly (I was thinking once a month, not sure how frequently you all might be running them). I'm also not sure what he means by diluting his brand - tried following up and asking exactly what he meant by that but no response so far. For context: He has 11k LinkedIn followers and an active email list of 10k with 50% open rates. Offer is $500 up front + $100/wk ongoing, typicall length seems to be 6 months. Would love some insights as to what the real issues are here and how you might respond to this. Thanks!

CDOD Response on the One-Sentence Offer!
I'm going through the self-paced CDOD training and after sending a core rehabilitation specialist the five original email follow ups I hit her with the One-Sentence offer and got a response! She laid out objections in the reply (which I know is a good thing). I want to make sure I'm "listening" to her so the customized Loom will handle the objections. First, here's the email I sent and then her reply: ********************************************* Subject: Offer for COMPANY NAME Hi Kelly, I’ve got a super fun way to upgrade your free COMPANY NAME members to paid members. Here's the offer: For every $10,000 I send in sales shoot over $2500 to me AFTER the money is in your bank account. I’m only looking for abundant-minded partners. I’ve put more deets and examples in a Loom vid, would it make any sense to send it? A quick "yes" or "no" is cool. - Chad Boswell P.S. I've been through your PROGRAM NAME and healed my diastasis recti back in 2024. You may have me as Daniel Boswell in your system. Her response: Hi there, I receive about 5 of these emails daily and I mostly ignore them. Since you've completed my program, you likely understand my approach better than a stranger. I am very careful about how I market. I never want to exploit people's desperation and I want to keep the messaging professional. I am willing to hear more from you. I would love to reach more people. Let me know the next step. ********************************************* So here's what I'm "hearing"... She gets hit up for marketing services daily and has ignored them. She responded to my email because I've gone through her program and gotten results. So there is some level of trust that I understand her approach to helping people. Her identity is wrapped around being professional at all times and she doesn't want to get a reputation for exploiting people's desperation just for more sales. She's open to hearing more but hesitant. She knows she's not reaching enough people and if she doesn't feel like its a scam, its giving her some hope that she can grow her membership ethically and honestly.
