Please help me find the right price
Hi, I just got an email from a used car dealership. They need 4 15 sec videos, shot on site. Do you charge extra for being on site plus the usual price for the videos?

Hey! Yes, you should charge extra for onsite work, including travel time or costs. It really depends on the distance and how much time you'll spend there. It's a good idea to calculate an hourly rate for the time spent onsite.
I have NO experience... Can I Still Pitch?” (Yes Here’s How👇)
This is the #1 mindset block I see in beginners, so let’s break it down and fix it today. In my recent post I shared my pitch template (if you haven’t seen it yet, go watch it first), and after that I got a great question from @Bettina Dabsch and @Tina Barta about this part in my intro line: “Hi Brand, My name is [your name] and I’m a full-time UGC creator based in [city, country] who has worked with over 200+ brands worldwide.” And I’m here to tell you:That is NOT the reason I land brand deals. It’s just a little extra cherry on top, not the main ingredient. So please don’t feel like you need experience to pitch brands. You don’t. What actually makes a pitch work (especially for beginners) is: ✨ Personalizing it ✨ finding a pain point and showing how you can solve it ✨ Having STRONG portfolio that matches the brands aesthetic ✨ Writing like a real person (not a robot) For example, instead of saying “I’ve worked with 200+ brands,” try: 💡 I’ve built a content style that feels like a friend’s recommendation, which is exactly what converts today. 💡 “I recently developed a UGC formula that’s been performing insanely well for the brands I work with and I’d love to tailor it for [Brand Name].” THAT is what makes you stand out. Even if you’ve worked with 0 brands so far, the way you position yourself and the value you offer is what gets replies. And just so you know… if I had worked with 200+ brands but my pitch was generic or my portfolio was messy, I promise you no one would care 😂 So don’t wait for experience. Start now, use what you do have, and keep pitching. Do you want me to drop a few more intro lines + a full example pitch you can steal this week?

Hey! I feel like the fact that you have worked with 200+ brands is the main factor in the positive results. As beginners how can we make ourselves attractive for brands in the first 2 sentences of the pitch?
Rates for brolls/raw footage and their usage rights
Hi everyone! I hope everyone is having a good weekend!❤️ I have a question and I would love to hear your thoughts. Someone asked me for 15 to 20 brolls. For the rest no talking or editing needed. I know that we need to charge more for raw footage as they can be used in endless versions but what if a broll is just 5-7 sec, what should I charge then? And also how do you calculate usage rights in this case? Do you do it based on the total amount of videos they will make with your brolls in the end or do you charge usage rights per broll? Haha I don't know if my questions are clear but would love to hear your thought on this or maybe you had a similar situations 😊 Sending great vibes to all of you! ❤️❤️❤️ Erika
