Rates for brolls/raw footage and their usage rights
Hi everyone!
I hope everyone is having a good weekend!❤️
I have a question and I would love to hear your thoughts.
Someone asked me for 15 to 20 brolls. For the rest no talking or editing needed.
I know that we need to charge more for raw footage as they can be used in endless versions but what if a broll is just 5-7 sec, what should I charge then?
And also how do you calculate usage rights in this case? Do you do it based on the total amount of videos they will make with your brolls in the end or do you charge usage rights per broll?
Haha I don't know if my questions are clear but would love to hear your thought on this or maybe you had a similar situations 😊
