What Actually Works? Ranking Hormone Therapy Options 👇🏻❤️
Kaylyn ranked different forms of hormone therapy for managing perimenopause and menopause symptoms 🙃 1️⃣ Injectable Hormones & Vaginal Creams 2️⃣ Oral Progesterone 3️⃣ Patches 4️⃣ Suppositories (progesterone) 5️⃣ Troches 6️⃣ Hormone creams/gels/sprays 7️⃣ Oral Estrogen (highest clotting risk) ❌ Pellets (Not a fan of pellets) ❌ Birth Control (Not a fan of birth control unless you need it for contraceptive purposes.) This is not a one size fits all ranking. The best form of hormone therapy is the one that works best for YOU!! At Elevate MD, we often see the most consistent symptom relief with injectable HRT, but the real priority is finding what fits your body, symptoms, and goals. You should always understand your options, along with the pros and cons of each, no matter where you are in your hormone journey 👏 Drop your thoughts or questions below and let’s talk about it 🤍 Watch the full video here with more details: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DWkQ18dPj8U/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

Mama bear needing answers
Good evening and bear with my long post. First im a single mama of 2 from Minnesota (can’t you hear my northern accent when you read that? lol) and this past year and a half has been a whirlwind. Halloween of 2024 I woke up with a lump in my throat. Long story short ran several tests multiple times, found out I have a thyroid goiter (hyperthyroidism). At the same time I noticed several symptoms of perimenopause (shortened cycle, hot flashes, low libido etc) started paying attention to all this and been trying to figure out how to fix all of this naturally but I’m digging myself into a hole, the more I research the more I spin. I know the two are interconnected I just have NO IDEA how to start fixing them. Through my research I’ve seen reels of elevated MD posts, found the FB stuff and than I found this group! Can anyone provide any feedback or insight?

Hi Jess! I’m so sorry you’ve been going through all of this🤍 And I totally get what you mean about going down the research rabbit hole… it can get overwhelming really fast. We are always here for you! We have a few posts that discuss thyroid, have you seen those on social media? I can link them if not!

We do also provide thyroid support and management at our practice alongside HRT!
Central nervous system overload
I saw a reel the other day, where Kaylyn was discussing I think central nervous system overload (I think) and suggested a supplement - L - …. ? Would anyone have the name? My cat wiped half the name off the white board I used to write it down

First appointment
Hi all, I've just made my first appointment for 2 weeks out. Is there anything you wish you'd asked about or known during your first appointment? I'm excited to get started. I tried pellet implants at a local clinic but hated them. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which causes the body to heal more slowly, so it took 2-3 weeks after each implant for the cut to heal. I'm really excited to not have to deal with that anymore.

Hi Cindy! That’s so exciting, I’m really glad you’ve got your first appointment scheduled 🤍 And I totally hear you on the pellets, especially with Ehlers-Danlos, that healing delay sounds like such a frustrating experience. Your provider will go through all of your results with you at your appointment! Here are some tips: • Share all your symptoms, even ones that don’t seem hormone-related• Talk about your pellet experience and what didn’t work for you • Mention your Ehlers-Danlos so your provider can tailor things appropriately • Come with 2–3 main goals (energy, mood, sleep, etc.) • Ask what to expect with follow-ups and adjustments We’ll really work with you to personalize everything, so you’re in great hands 😊
Going crazy 🤪
Help Im menopausal. I am on .55mg estradiol patch and 200mg progesterone. I don't struggle with hot flashes but every other symptom is still present. Brain fog, low mood irrability skin dryness hair thinning every other symptom I still have. My OB/Gyn said I need to see a mental health provider if im not having hot flashes then I am medically fine the hrt is working.

Hi Regina, wow I am so sorry you were told that. It is unacceptable how women are dismissed like this. While hot flashes get the most attention, symptoms like brain fog, low mood, irritability, skin dryness, and hair thinning are all very real and often tied to hormone shifts too. So the absence of hot flashes doesn’t necessarily mean your HRT is fully optimized for you!!
