About a week ago I launched my first ever ad campaign and was super excited to see results. As the days went on I kept looking at the numbers and learning about all the little details that go into ad sets and ads and all that jazz. However, after 6-7 (😏) days I had a good bit of traffic but still no new members. The old me would have been super discouraged and probably lost motivation. But taking the approach of a scientist/researcher just having fun, I knew I just had to try a new experiment. So, I went back to the drawing board and launched a new campaign with a higher budget. I also spent a few hours trying to figure out how to get ConversionsAPI to connect to Skool so it could track which people join the group. Long story short, I launched the campaign and logged off for the night… only to wake up this morning to 4 new members!! I wanted to share because I just know there are others out there trying to navigate the world of ads and might be feeling discouraged. Something out there will work for you, but you just gotta keep testing and trying until you find it. That seems to be the name of the game in entrepreneurship. Don’t lose heart and just keep swimming 🏊

Hey @Dan Harrison you mentioned the PowerPost strategy and that we can run it directly as an ad on Meta. I’m curious about your view on this, because in the past every specialist I worked with strongly advised against boosting organic posts. It was always considered wasted money. I’m currently running ads for @Chantal Perrinjaquet , who’s one of your Premium clients, so I want to make sure we follow the approach you’d actually recommend. A few months ago, a successful marketer I follow said boosting is now working surprisingly well on Instagram, but still not on Facebook. So I’d love to hear how you see it today? And if boosting an organic post on Instagram and/or Facebook is actually a good idea again, what format performs best in your experience? A single image, a carousel, or a video/reel or ...? If anyone else here has tested this recently, I’d be happy to hear your experience too. Thanks, Arnold

Dan addresses Vices in the Skool Engine module, and it hit different for me. I want to share what I've been working through... the weeeeeed. Real talk — it was my daily non-negotiable for over 15 years. Started when I was 26 and never really questioned it. But here's the thing: it was the block keeping me small. I just couldn't see it. Last week everything shifted. Came down with a mild cold, kicked it in a day, and something just clicked — I was done. No dramatic moment. Just clarity. And since then? My vision has been getting sharper every single day. No more morning brain fog (I'd smoke as a nightcap but it wrecked my sleep and had me groggy and disconnected every morning). I'm more present, more locked in, more me. Here's the lesson I'm taking from this: do the shadow work with the same energy you're putting into building your systems. It's all integrative. We can't build the business we want while holding onto the things keeping us stuck. You need the FULL vision to go all in. So I'll ask — anyone else willing to share a vice you're working through or recently decided to let go?
