Documenting my openclaw / Clawdbot journey on IG
5 days ago I started building a Clawdbot Ai assistant. I wanted to do it the right way so I have spent the last 5 days learning and taking as many security precautions as possible. I joined Nate Herks paid community to go deeper into the Ai wormhole - specifically to learn Claude code better and building these agents. Not going to lie it was pretty technical - I am sure that there will be a more user friendly way to do this in the next few months the or year but I am doing this to expand my skill set - to Lean into an uncomfortable new world. And after 5 days… It’s so crazy… like we are living in the matrix. I will be documenting my learning over on IG - check out today’s post and follow along 🦞

@Alex Swetnam I can tell you the main process for me was: - Mac Mini - Isolated sandbox - It gets its own credentials for everything - Very tight security protocol and skills - Regular breach and password leak checks - All keys / codes and APIs are encrypted in an .env file and never shared directly in chat - I built everything hand in hand with Claude in a separate conversation and went back and forth asking for all my blind spots as I built it
In person retreats
Hi @Dan Harrison and all! I fully get it why you don’t recommend running in person retreats if your business still doesn’t bring 10k recurrent revenue. I recently started my business (coming from academic background) and my community here and I want the core of my business to be the retreats (I run a Relationship Design School after all and it is about experiential learning and immersion). I am investing my own money from my previous business and ready to take a risk. What would be one way to mitigate the risk of not enough people signing up? What paralel projects would you recommend running to raise funds for the retreats? Thank you!

Only run the retreat if you can pre sell the tickets. The belize retreat that we were promoting was $100k. but before I put a deposit down and secure I would only do that if there was enough interest in advance. There was not - there were only 4 verbal commitments for belize - and so we are not going forward with it. would have been awesome - but I am not going to carry that risk :)

Smells like a bot to me - and if I even smell a bot in here I just delete their comments and ban them. So.. just a heads up - if you aren't using a bot your comments sound like it
Proximity > Willpower
One of the best decisions I’ve made in business was stopping the habit of trying to do everything alone. At some point, you realize progress doesn’t come from grinding harder. It comes from proximity. That’s why groups like LFG Premium and VIP exist. You're not paying for information. You're paying to shorten timelines by being closer to people who are already building what you want to build. That’s why I joined Premium. And it’s done exactly that. Sharpened my thinking, improved execution, and cut a lot of unnecessary friction. What caught me off guard was seeing where I wasn’t applying the same logic. My own health. As founders, we invest in coaching, communities, and systems for our businesses. But when it comes to energy, fitness, and consistency, a lot of us default to willpower: “I know what to do.” “I’ll get back to it when things slow down.” “I just need to be more disciplined.” That mindset wouldn’t fly in business. If you wanted faster results, you wouldn’t white-knuckle it alone. You’d invest in structure and proximity. The irony for me? I’m a fitness coach. I understand the fundamentals. And I still caught myself skipping workouts, cutting sleep, and trying to force business growth anyway. I was relying on willpower instead of structure. Something I’d never do with an established company. That’s when the parallel clicked. The same reason rooms like this shorten business timelines is the same reason support and structure shorten the timeline to better health. Not motivation. Structure. Accountability. Environment. When energy improves, a lot of other things follow: • Decisions get clearer • Communication improves • Patience increases • Income often does too Not hype. Just practical cause and effect. You show up better. Clients feel it. Teams feel it. Your family definitely does. This isn’t a pitch. Just a pattern I’ve noticed. Where are you already investing to speed things up in your business, and where are you still trying to white-knuckle it on your own?

Conversions stuff
Hey. I’m at 1% conversion rate for my community from free to one of two tiers. I’m emailing, dMing and posting content that’s getting engagement, 45% are engaged and I’m posting offers every week. Tiers are 27$ and 67$ This conversion seems low. Am I right? I’m looking for hints, tips or maybe just some soothing words that everything is going to be alright. 👍🏼😆😢 Is anyone else in this same boat?
