Month 1 | Day 9 [Accountability]
📌Day - 9 💰 MRR - $1,500 (6.6k side income) 🎯Goal - $10,000 🚩Bottleneck (s) - n/a Day Notes Tried out a run club today can’t say I’d do it again. I think I prefer running solo, hah. The rest of the day was spent with family, cleaning out the garage, and handling some client work in the afternoon. It felt a bit all over the place, especially with driving from San Diego to LA, but I’m finally settled in. Ready to get back to work tomorrow mostly admin tasks and preparing for the week ahead. Businesses Stats (Monthly) section will return middle of october will be traveling and managing existing projects

why 97% of copywriters will fail...
If you've been grinding for months trying to land your first copywriting client and getting nothing but ghosted... I feel you. You've binge watched every damn video about outreach but nothing works. Here's what's really happening: - You're stuck in tutorial hell (always learning, never earning) - Clients smell the desperation in your proposals - You're competing on price like everyone else - That voice won't shut up: "Who am I to charge $2K?" It kind of makes you start thinking should I continue or get a normal gig??? I used to think landing clients was some secret only the "creators with a following" knew. But then I cracked the code. Look here's the truth: Getting clients isn't about being the best writer. It's about being the most trusted writer. PERCEPTION When you understand this, clients start sliding into your DMs instead of you chasing them. So how do you improve your perception? Drop a question related to copywriting and I'll send you my PERCEPTION checklist Its exactly how I booked this call from IG DM's (ITS POSSIBLE)

@Albin Banatskiy There it is, Albin you’ve already done what 95% of people can’t: just saying it how it is. Outreach sucks, man. Trust me, I hate it too. That’s why I looked for other routes HVO was a mess, so I pivoted. - Upwork → people literally tell you their exact problem. - Paid ads → pricey, but if you’ve got a following, it can kickstart momentum. - IG/LinkedIn DMs → painful, but pairing HVO with a quick VSL works. I still do this sometimes about 1 client per 100 DMs. If I had to guess, your number might be closer to 500 sends for a close. The key is consistency: most sales cycles in this space run ~21 days, so give it that time. We could even hold each other accountable daily if you want. And don’t forget you’ve got an edge. You already post online. Use that. Repurpose your HVO or research into YouTube content, act like you’re copywriting or growth-operating for prospects, and show your expertise. You’ve got funnel/marketing knowledge so prove it. Hell, pitch me on how you’d make me more money and throw it up on YouTube. I'll tell you what sucks and roast it. Make it a game. setup videos like this kid does -> https://www.youtube.com/@Alexei_Lapotko p.s. send me your outreach metrics if you send 300 brotha you should be booking at least 9 calls MINIMUM if not something is wrong

Month 1 | Day 7 [Accountability]
📌Day - 7 💰 MRR - $1,500 (6.6k side income) 🎯Goal - $10,000 🚩Bottleneck (s) - client work Day Notes This morning I pushed myself through a run I really didn’t want to do. In the afternoon, I got payment from a client though we ended up not needing the full buildout, so we settled at $500 instead of $650. Bit of a bummer, but on the bright side, it means less work. Since I didn’t take many photos today, I found myself looking back at some shots from my Bali trip. The final stretch of September has been mostly client work + wrapping up projects and keeping things moving. @Albin Banatskiy its so crazy 🤣 lol
I have a question
So, I focus on instagram outreach mostly. I send 15-20 openers a day and 3-5 people actually respond. I try to skim through their funnel and if I find smth that I can help with I send them opener. But I got around 5-10 people who actually liked my free value but now they just ghost me (they see my dms). One of them said that he likes my dms and free value was fire. But eventually when he asked about my offer and I sent it to him, he said that he is good for now. I asked why he thinks so(was it about the price or smth else). He said 'don't need it/want it'. I want you to tell me where I made a mistake here. Thanks

It sounds like the problem isn’t your free value they literally said it was fire. The breakdown is probably in how you’re being perceived when the convo shifts from “free tips” to “paid service.” this might help - Write down the exact journey from your opener → their first reply → when you send free value → when you pitch. - At each step, ask: “How might I be perceived right now?” (Am I coming off as pushy? As too eager? As a free tip guy instead of a partner?) - Then adjust your positioning. For example, instead of asking why they don’t want it, flip it to “What’s your priority right now? Curious if it’s [A, B, or C]”. That keeps the door open and makes you consultative instead of transactional. The goal isn’t to win them on the spot it’s to leave them with the perception that you’re a pro worth circling back to when the timing’s right.
