Dating a Coworker
I work at a company that employs over 11000 people and then there are many other people who are subcontractors or government representatives. Also there are Navy personnel where I work. With so many people I am attracted to some of them. What are your thoughts on dating people who work at the same place as you. My company has no rules about dating coworkers. Is it a bad idea to date coworkers? Is it a bad idea to ask people out at work? Is there any good way to go about asking someone out at work?

As one who was afraid to, but did Sh!t where he sleeps, if the company is large enough, you are not the person‘s supervisor, and there is enough distance within the organization, I say go for it. You work for the same overall company, and we are attracted to the same.

My dad can’t wear any of his old sports coats or suits, so I am going through little by little. Here is a Gianfranco Ruffini (c. 2003) sports coat with rose shirt and striped tie. I like how the pattern can go with either black or blue trousers. (by the way, it is pretty windy here in North Jersey!)

@Anthony Buntyn I have been blessed with a lot of unique family heirlooms. I possessed my grandfather‘s trombone and played that in high school, college, and professionally. My younger son now uses it. 1951 Reynolds.

Thank you all for the positive comments and feedback!
Cold day Thursday
Trying to layer and stay warm. Vintage tweed jacket with some really great colors paired with a crazy colorful vintage wool tie, Brooks Brothers lambswool vest and pocket square, Polo Ralph Lauren corduroys and chocolate suede brogue shoes

Sartorial slump
I wonder if this has happened to any of you? I've been in a "sartorial slump" for the past several weeks. I have been trying to dress well but feel like a lot of my outfits are feeling the same. I am so use to wearing a jacket and tie that it seems almost routine and trying to spice it up has been tough. I have PLENTY of clothes but struggle to get excited about outfits as I feel like I am in a sort of rut. Anyone else struggle with that? One remedy I had though of was doing theme weeks, like a bow tie week or a tweed week, double breasted jacket week, wool sweater week, Argyle week, Ralph Lauren week, Brooks Brothers week Loro Piana week or a decade week I.E. 50s, 60s 80s....etc. any thoughts?

I probably go through much more minor shifts in styling, but as I have stated elsewhere on here, the shirt and tie (sometimes jacket) is my uniform at work (a school)
Whimsy Thursday
Didn’t plan it down to this exact detail, but that’s the beauty of chance… Van Huesen sports jacket and shirt. I felt the tie complemented the shirt, and I wanted a pocket square. I liked the play of the pastels.
