1st Milestone Achieved 🎉
Another member upgraded to our VIP tier today for 997/year 🎉 This brought our total MRR up to $537! Started with a $500/month goal to keep myself in momentum Here's what worked for me to reach this point: 1. Founding Members Launch I started messy with nothing really built... Offered a low-barrier founding members deal to see who was interested in more support. Had 17 people upgrade through the 2 months this deal ran. 2. Live Workshops (thanks for the inspiration to do this @Dan Harrison 😎) We run free workshops for now that solve real problems our members are having. Getting them a win in real time naturally led to upgrades. 3. Real Conversations Instead of leaving comments everywhere, I just found conversations that were happening and shared my actual take. Trust was built fast doing this, and DMs naturally followed. From there, if it made sense, I made the offer to them privately. Learn from my mistakes and don't overcomplicate this. I used to overthink all of this stuff and realized all I needed to do was be direct and clear. Help people and talk to them like a real person. The goal is to give them a reason to want more access to you.

Well done. Keep moving forward with your plan. Conversations and having a plan are two of the best ingredients in the stew.

Brilliant. I love not only the tool but knowing that it was built with a specific goal in mind for your own business. Spreadsheet tracking and CRM dashboards can get overwhelming. This brings the right metrics together and highlights areas that need focus.
Do you really lose data?
Quick question about ads... particularly on Meta. @Jessica Clark & I are running a campaign at the moment that we recently turned the ad spend down on to review everything to determine our next best steps. My question is if I turn off the campaign why is it that people say you lose data? Isn't the pixel there to collect the data so future campaigns don't spend as much time in the learning phase? And a quick follow up... Instead of turning off the campaign, is it better to turn it down to just $1/day? I need to allocate the ad funds to 1 campaign only since we have a limited ad budget and that's why these questions popped up in my head! Thank in advance for any help 🙏🏻 It's much appreciated! The GIF because: "Dolla Dolla bills y'all" 😅

Good questions. Since I haven’t ventured into the land of paid promotions, I’m turning notifications for this post. All ears.👂

If your funnel doesn’t work - do this instead!
The biggest problem I see smart coaches struggling with right now is overwhelm and over complicating things. I’ve enrolled 18 new high ticket clients this month because I do this simple thing. 👇🏽

Yep, it's all about conversations. I'm not sure how many times you said "conversations" in this short video, but anyone half listening should've picked that up as the BIG takeaway. I think the pricing model has somewhat to do with mindset and self-valuation. A lot of people aren't used to working with bigger numbers. We think $500 - dang, that's more than my car payment. Here's the cold hard truth...I can put my head around a $7500 high ticket offer and that $500 m is only $6000 annually. That's proof enough that mindset plays tricks on us and each of us have to work on overcoming those stuck points when it comes to money.

How to sell your way through life
I've been thinking about the difference between coaches who make $30K–$100K a month and those who are broke. It's not strategy. It's not funnel design. It's not even their offer. It's usually comes down to a few core skills The primary skill being Sales. But not the kind you think. Not smooth lines. Not scripts. Not manipulation or tricks Because Real sales is much deeper than that. When you learn how to sell, I think that might be when you actually learn how to live. Here's what I mean: Sales isn't just a business skill. It's a life skill. The parts that make up REAL sales skills are: - Having a definite major aim - The ability to focus - Understanding autosuggestion - Qualities of character - The art of closing a sale - A pleasing personality - Persistence - Faith - Humility - The habit of doing more than you're paid to do - Applying the golden rule daily Look at that list. Those aren't sales tactics. They're identity principles. And when you build those into who you are, you don't just close deals. You build trust. You lead with integrity. You create demand. You also AI-proof your business and your life. Because AI can write copy. It can build funnels. It can automate sequences. But it can't connect like a human can It can't read energy. It can't hold space for transformation. It can’t build character for you… That's human work. And that's sales. Here's the truth most people don't want to hear: A lot of coaches avoid selling because it makes them uncomfortable. They'd rather get stuck in funnel-building tech hell than be vulnerable, risk rejection, and actually connect with another human. But that avoidance is what keeps them broke. Because the market doesn't reward complexity. It rewards clarity. And clarity comes from conversations. From understanding what people actually need. From being present enough to ask the right question at the right time. That's sales. So if you want to build a business that scales without burning you out...

Excellent list of character attributes, especially the next to the last one where giving more than expected is just part of who we are. Authentic. Grateful. Serving.
