🧠 Day 3 Mindset Challenge - Awareness
Sorry! I forgot to post this earlier Today is about catching yourself in real time. Every negative thought. Every “I shouldn’t eat that.” Every panic moment. You’re not fixing it yet—just noticing it. 👉 Comment:“One thought I caught today was…”

"..... there must be at least 400 calories in just one slice of that birthday cake." I'm always putting a number to any food I look at, whether I'm eating it or not. Numbers are exhausting.

@Joanne Zuniga I didn't eat it and I wasn't sad about it. I turn EVERYTHING into a number. And it's not just what is on MY plate, it's everything on everyone else's plate. It's everyone else's lunch in the refrigerator in the break room. It's every food or restaurant commercial on the TV. Today the grandkids were opening their eggs after the Easter egg hunt. My brain was calculating the calories in their baskets. 24 eggs x 80 calories per every fun size chocolate bar. It sounds crazy even to me, but I still do it.
🧠 Maintenance Mindset
Instead of todays Q and A, I wanted to upload this video on Mindset when it comes to our new weight and maintenance. Once you reach your goal weight, sometimes, maintaining your results can become a mental struggle in and of itself. There are some members @Renee Baker @Lisa Atwood that I had in mind when creating this. I have and entire course on Maintenance protocols that will be available soon, but I believe the mindset piece is so important. ✅ Download the workbook, ✅ watch the video, and let me know your thoughts. 😄 P.s. if you still have questions about that you want me to answer, comment below and I'm still happy to help you out.

Thank you Joanne. I am really good at telling myself that my self-worth is reflected by the number on the scale. I need to stop with that nonsense, but it's easier said than done.
🍲 Sunday Meal Prep Check in
Who is (or has already) meal prepped (even just a little bit) today? I am doing meal prep later and might film it !

I meal prep every Sunday. It's one thing that I do consistently. This week I made chicken meatballs and a stuffed bell pepper casserole. My husband had no idea that the rice was really cauliflower. I air fried brussel sprouts and blanched fresh green beans. I also pre-sliced strawberries for my greek yogurt. I also weigh out my granola ahead of time and put it in baggies, also for my yogurt. I make my protein shakes in my blender bottles and leave then in the refrigerator. I boil a dozen eggs. All of the things that I prepare can easily be mixed and matched so I have a different lunch every day.

@Joanne Zuniga maintenance is the best I can do right now. I'm holding steady. The mental part of being healthy is still hard for me. My relationship with food is not healthy...I absolutely realize that. I also realize that there are still things that I can change, but I can't change them all at once. Body dysmorphia is real.

After 9 pm is my danger time. Trader Joe's sales edamame in microwavable serving- size bags. That's my go to. 😃
