Hi everyone! I’m Awen, and my partner is @Jiun-Ru Chiang . We created a website called “Face & Fate.” The idea came from “look-alike couples,” aka 夫妻臉. We believe sometimes we choose the people we like because, subconsciously, we feel they look like us. So, we collect facial feature data and provide a lifestyle survey to match people in a sea of faces! Our goal is to help participants find their first date and provide some suggestions! I’m the Visual Hacker, and my partner Jiun-Ru is the Visual Hipster. He’s good at having cool ideas, and I’m good at making things happen. My working hours are very flexible. I can work online or meet with my clients in person. Most of my work is one-on-one, although I sometimes work with small groups. My most valuable asset is in my head. People sometimes tell me that I’m like a mind reader. But really, I simply just translate what I see in front of me.

My job involves working with a variety of clients—sometimes individuals, sometimes groups. It’s crucial that I remember their interests and background details so I can make them feel comfortable during our appointments. Even though we always work in air-conditioned spaces, they almost always leave sweating.
