Alien woman: Zardoz! The transdimensional transmogrifier is plugged up again. Go fix it.
Alien man: Yes dear.
Alien man (lifting item from guts of machine) This! Again!
Alien man (walking back to house): I wish I knew what these things are, and where they keep coming from.
Alien man (standing on porch of house and examining item): Maybe some day our scientists will find a use for these stupid things. I sure hope so.
