Dr. Pang's Q&A on Qigong Therapy-42
[42] After getting treated for an illness, if one feels dry in the mouth, what's the reason?
It's because the spirit is too tense. When the mind is tight, there will be more heat. Traditional Chinese medicine says, "Excess qi is fire." Qigong also says, "Excess intention is fire."
When getting treated, if one smiles and relaxes the spirit, the dryness in the mouth will disappear.
Not only when getting treated, but also when practicing qigong, if the spirit is too tense, dryness in the mouth may occur.
