Tangled in Two Colors
So this is basically my first real attempt at knitting with two colors (okay, I did try once years ago, made a whole sock, but let’s just say… the result was “meh”). Now I’m wrestling with two strands and it feels like yarn gymnastics.
I knit continental style with open hands because my fingers are ridiculously long, and that’s just how little-me learned, no chance I’m retraining these stubborn fingers now!
But here’s the big question: how far can a float go without turning into a yarn tripwire? Is 7 stitches too much? Because that’s where I keep getting stuck. If I try to catch the yarn, it twists like it’s plotting against me.
Any magical tips before I start negotiating with my yarn? 😅
