@Sandra Rediger Hi good morning. Agree, nice voice. I think this video explains better the Japanese rows than the Rhubarb & C one. Have a great day. 🙂
Tangled in Two Colors
So this is basically my first real attempt at knitting with two colors (okay, I did try once years ago, made a whole sock, but let’s just say… the result was “meh”). Now I’m wrestling with two strands and it feels like yarn gymnastics. I knit continental style with open hands because my fingers are ridiculously long, and that’s just how little-me learned, no chance I’m retraining these stubborn fingers now! But here’s the big question: how far can a float go without turning into a yarn tripwire? Is 7 stitches too much? Because that’s where I keep getting stuck. If I try to catch the yarn, it twists like it’s plotting against me. Any magical tips before I start negotiating with my yarn? 😅

Hi, I knit continental as well. The experts say max 5 stitches, keep in mind longer than that will cause trouble when getting the foot in. I'm linking a long video from Nimble needles that explains in detail the whole colour work (continental) and how to deal with yarns, hope you find it helpful https://youtu.be/-8t8s5Fwups?si=8xgSU43NEjFPO37W
Striped gusset confusion
Good morning. Do you have a video showing completion of row 3 (and 4) of striped gusset please? Photo of gusset row 3 on needle ready to knit row 4. I have watched the rhubarb video a few times, but am so stumped on row 4 every time I try it. I end up having two mc beside each other on row 3 (due to the LLI) and then don’t know what to do with them on row 4 because then the stripes don’t work. Same thing happens if I do the LLI in cc as per the row 3 instructions. 2nd Photo shows my LLI in CC, instructions say to do next stitch in mc. I’m so confused. I’m doing The Freshness Socks. Thanks in advance.

Hi I knitted this last year and don't remember having a problem, however I read the instructions and made a sketch for you including setup rows and round 1- 4, hope it helps.

Can't stop 😁
Ciao a Tutti! I casted on yesterday and for some time I couldn't stop, very engaging pattern, I'm working on Children of Gaza. I'm using Concept (Alpaquina Katia), light fingering, 2.25mm for toe and heel and 2.5mm for the body. 🤗
