VKL Memories for procrastination
In order to delay the scary cutting of the steek on the Barberry Sweater (the first Zanete pattern purchased) I loaded needles with the VKL Memories Socks. I was intrigued by the gusset design and was excited to learn about the construction. Easy to follow instruction made this a fun project. The limited stretch of the colorwork makes them a tad challenging to put on. Once on, the fit is very comfy. I used Hobbii Silly Sock yarn paired with a solid also from Hobbii. I will up the needle size on the next pair. 2.25 mm used for these. Now the steek is the next item on the agenda.

@Jenna Kelly Thank you Jenna! It was fun to see how the colorway (Diabolo Silly Socks) transitioned in colorwork. Plenty left to try another pair with a different MC.😀

@Trish Harris Thanks so much Trish. My first colourwork pair of socks. Looking forward to dive into Socktober with another Zanete pattern.

Brava! Your success is a treat for all your followers.
Hello to all, and a question
👋👋👋 My first post to this community is concerning advanced planning. I’m about to begin the Sweet Violet Sweater using Hobbi Dream Colour, a suggested yarn. When a variegated yarn is used as the CC and one skein accommodates the yardage, can I plan for matching arms? I have made matching cakes when knitting socks but the yoke of a sweater presents a new challenge. Clearly two skeins would solve the problem but ATM I have only one skein of 3 different colorways. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

@Zanete Hussain thanks so much for the speedy reply. Most of the posted projects in Ravelry appear to have matching sleeves ✊
