I knitted both sleeves at the same time to keep the colour as similar as possible in both sleeves.

To make the sleeves long enough for me, I needed to add double the length to the cuffs otherwise the sleeves would have been a little bit too short. I could have added a section of repeat of clue 1 to lengthen them but I felt the simple cuffs were a better finish.

I took about 6 weeks to finish knitting this jersey and I enjoyed every stitch. I have learned a lot about colour work. Selecting the colours (marling), keeping the correct tension in the different sections and pattern repeat to create a balanced rhythm throughout the jersey.

At some point in the future, when I feel braver, I will attempt to knit the cardigan, although I am not sure I will ever feel brave enough to cut the front of the finished jersey!!
