I need some expert advice.

I've never done steek knitting before, and for a nicer finish, I'd like to make a double button band. You know, the kind where you put a cable or a scoubidou cord underneath to go back to the wrong side and "trap" the edge.

If @Zanete Hussain doesn't do it that way, there must be a reason. Is the knitting too heavy? Is it too long/too complicated?

Je n'ai jamais fait de steek et pour une plus belle finition, j'aurais aimé faire une double bande de boutonnage. Vous savez, celle qui ce fait en mettant un câble ou un fil a scoubidou en dessous pour repartir sur l'envers et "emprisonner" la bordure.

ne fait pas comme ça, c'est qu'il doit y avoir une raison. Le tricot serait trop lourd? C'est trop long/trop compliqué ?
