It's time. Go get your Clue 1!
I’m so excited that for most of you, this will be your first steek! Eek! I love how brave you all are, and I really hope your trust in me pays off. The best part is, we've got a bunch of experienced steekers who can help us through this with moral support! But we don't need to worry about all that yet. Today we focus on the first clue. It's been a bit of a wait but it's officially out! If you have already purchased the pattern, check your inbox for a notification about the pattern update, then refresh your Ravelry library to download the newly added Clue 1 file. If not, you can still grab it here. There’s also a few tutorials waiting for you here on Skool! Just head over to the Classroom tab and find the Rujuu course. Let the fun begin! I can’t wait to see all your amazing projects! P.S. A little note on spoilers! To keep things simple and fun for everyone this year, we won't be using spoiler photo covers or separate clue threads. This means you'll likely see WIP photos out in the open as each clue is released. If you're starting a bit later and want to keep the surprise, it might be best to hop back on here only when you're ready to see the images.

Rujuu MYAL FAQs
I am absolutely thrilled to see everyone getting stuck in and taking the stashbusting so seriously! This is exactly what I was hoping for. I’ve loved seeing all your questions and yarn combinations, and since a few topics keep popping up, I wanted to share a quick FAQ before Clue 1 comes out in a few days. I'll keep updating this post to add more questions if necessary. 👉 What does Rujuu mean? Rujuu (pronounced "roo-JOO", with emphasis on the second syllable) is based on an Arabic name meaning "Return." For me, this perfectly reflects how leftover and stash yarns can return to a new purpose, seen with fresh eyes to create something new. 👉 Why is the yardage so huge? - The yardage includes about 10% for swatching, which is a common practice in knitwear design. While this approach may need updating, it remains standard. Larger sizes don’t necessarily require larger swatches, so this is something to consider. - The estimate is based on schematic measurements, so if you have a shorter torso or sleeves, you’ll need less yarn. - I’ve added extra buffer to ensure no one runs out of yarn midway through a motif, as mentioned in the video. The estimate is intentionally generous. - Additionally, button bands are included in the yardage and typically use 30-40% of Colour D. If you’re making a pullover, you’ll need less of D. 👉 Is C the main colour? A is intended to be the main colour, but C is also used as main colour in some clues. C is also used in yarn-heavy techniques, such as slip stitches, where the idea of a "main colour" doesn’t apply. This is why there’s more of C. 👉 How are the colours used? - A: Used with C only; requires high contrast with C. - B: Used with C only; should have some contrast with C and must not be the same yarn as C, though it can be the same yarn as A. - C: Used with A and B; you can use multiple colours for C or a colour-changing yarn as long as it maintains high contrast with A. For example, a range of shades from dark blue to dark red can work with a beige/grey A. - D: Used on its own; can be the same as any of the other colours.

It feels a bit like waiting on christmas to come 😂 Or birthday
CONFUSED - Please help!
I have swatched a LOT today which has both helped and confused me; so I would really appreciate your advice on colour combinations. I have enough yarn to make almost every combination work except that I don’t have enough light blue or pink to make it group C. @Zanete Hussain I would appreciate your opinion on combinations that would work best for the pattern. Thank you very much to everyone for taking the time to help me decide.

I was so close 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I feel like I might unravel this bind off and join in the row before. What would you do? This is the button band that the buttons go on, so in theory it will be on the underside….. but it’s not perfect either 😭😅🤯

If you are already considering to unravel this might be the way to go because otherwise you will probably never wear your besutiful piece of knitwear ☹️
Yarn choice
My Yarn choice Now that I look at it on the Photo it’s actually a bit borring To add a bit of fun I should do the steeked version (never done this before … comming to think of it I never did a stranded colorwork cardigan anyway so the borring colors may cool down the exitement) I could go bold on color D to celebrate the glorious finish😂
