Thought of the day...
One way to supercharge any aspect of your life is to give it a secondary reason.
As in...
Okay, money is fun... but what is your money for?
Having a partner is nice... but what is your relationship for?
Having a fit, healthy body is great... but what is your health for?
When you tie secondary reinforcers to the major pillars of your life, they become that much easier to prioritize.
Maybe having a six-pack means nothing to you... but having enough energy to play with your kids/grandkids/nieces/nephews matters a lot.
Maybe being a millionaire for the sake of it doesn't do anything... but having the ability to give back with wild generosity to your favorite causes means more.
And maybe having a partner just to have a warm body to sleep next to doesn't get you going... but having a healthy, conscious relationship is significant because it helps you access aspects of your growth that wouldn't be available otherwise.
I know it's highly uncommon to reference New Years resolutions at the end of May (remember those things from six months ago?)...
But one of the best ways you can do to add some fuel to the fire is...
- Get clear on your 'Why' behind the goals, and...
- Tie some of that Why to people outside of yourself.
What are your secondary reasons 'Why' you want/need/desire to have the body & health you really want? 👇
