Two bulls stood on a hill — a father and his son — quietly overlooking the herd grazing in the valley below.
The young bull, full of energy and impatience, nudged his father and said excitedly, “Dad, let’s run down there and fuck one of those cows!”
The father looked out across the field, calm and composed. He paused, smiled knowingly, and replied,“Son… let’s walk down… and fuck the whole herd. They’re not going anywhere.”
Speed often feels powerful. Urgency can feel productive. But rushing usually narrows your vision, drains your energy, and leads to missed opportunities or costly mistakes.
Deliberate action, on the other hand, creates control. It allows you to assess the terrain, conserve strength, and position yourself for maximum success.
Life, business, relationships, and strategy all follow the same principle:
- Impatience chases short-term wins.
- Patience builds long-term dominance.
When you rush, you aim for one quick result. When you move with intention, you position yourself for sustainable success.
Not every opportunity needs to be seized immediately. Not every decision must be made today.
Sometimes the greatest advantage comes from stepping back, observing the full landscape, and executing with clarity rather than impulse.
The bigger picture nearly always offers greater rewards to those disciplined enough to see it.
After all… tomorrow is still part of the plan.
