Destination 'Success'
Success is not a destination. It is a position. And most people don’t even know where they are starting from. If you can’t define your current position with clarity, you cannot chart a path forward. No map works without a point of origin. The shortest path is a straight line. But very few people can draw one. Because they don’t know: - where they are - where they’re going - or what the destination actually looks like Ask 100 people what success is. You will get 100 different answers. Most of them vague:“happy”“rich”“free” None of them measurable.None of them structured. You cannot reach what you cannot define. And even if you could… Most people would not accept the cost. Because real movement requires: - discipline - time - sacrifice - separation You may outgrow your environment. You may outgrow people. Not everyone comes with you. Be careful what you aim for. You might reach it. And then realise it was never the real target. Most people are not chasing success. They are chasing distraction. New goals. New trends. New ideas. Constant motion. No direction. The result? Movement without progress. The Operator moves differently. He defines: - his current position - his true objective - the cost required Then he builds a path. And follows it. If you don’t know where you are… you are not lost. You are unmeasured. Clearly define your position. System to Success
What if I told you I have a system that can make you money. If nurtured, it can make you wealthy. Simply plant a seed in an environment suitable for growth. That seed will grow and eventually bare fruit. Use some of that fruit to plant more seeds. The rest of the fruit goes back to the ground as fertilizer. Only when you have an abundance of trees producing fruit, do you ever sell or eat them for profit. This simple system has been tried and tested for thousands of years. So why arent you all successful ? People become bored, complacent, Greedy, impatient etc. So the system dies along with your wealth opportunities. 'Ready, Fire, Aim'
Frameworks like the OODA Loop, 'Ready, Fire, Aim,' and other simple decision models are used in military, leadership, and high-performance business environments for a reason. They work. Not because they sound clever. Because they create action without chaos. They are easy to remember, easy to apply, and highly effective when pressure is high and information is incomplete. That is where most people fail. They wait too long. Overthink. Freeze. Or move emotionally without structure. These systems are designed to stop that. Their real purpose is to enforce clear thinking under pressure. Especially when: - not all the facts are available - time is limited - uncertainty is high - hesitation is expensive That is why they matter so much in business, leadership, trading, relationships, and everyday life. You do not always need more information.Often, you need a better process. Find one framework you like and start using it daily. Because the more prepared you are for the small things, the easier the big things become. When life is broken down into simple, repeatable steps, decisions become easier. Action becomes faster. Results appear sooner. And you stop wasting time trying to reinvent your thinking every time pressure shows up. The other key point is this: These systems are not one-time actions.They are loops. Observe. Decide. Act. Reassess. Or: Ready. Fire. Aim. The process keeps moving. That is where the real power is. Not in having a perfect plan from the start, but in being able to assess, act, and refine continuously. The people who win consistently are rarely the ones with perfect information. Using AI To Create Fundamental Analysis Dashboards
Hi all. Testing out creating some fundamental watchlist dashboards just for extra confluence with trades. Have designed a prototype version tracking the Aussie Dollar, as I'm predominantly trading this as well as Gold on another MT5 account. Pros to this is instead of cycling through forex factory, Bloomberg and other key news articles, this is all in one dashboard that presents all information extracted from a number of key sources into one. Trading/Business Wins
How’s everyone’s week been so far in trading. I’m chasing a lot of revenge trades in forex and it’s doing my head in. I’m actually doing better with crypto, not sure if anyone else has had experience in both asset classes trading wise. Or if they use a similar strategy when manually trading both

@Andreas Saris It sounds very psychological. technically dont chase losses. However, if you 'know' a trade is due to turn then that strategy can be done. Not guess work and revenge trades. But 'Strategy' As price moves up/down it will typically revert to the average/mean. In the pic MT5 Orange and Blue lines (Dark Bands) Green similar lines (Bollinger Bands) Both indicators are very similar Dark Bands better for signals. AUDUSD Bot works on Bollinger bands. And has a habit of moving in waves in a up or down trend. So this pair with these settings follow a basic predictable pattern. It doesnt always get the first trade and maybe it takes 6 trades like yesterday. But it will revert to the mean and thats where profit is made. Top left of pic shows daily stats (71% success rate) Knowing this I can confidently trade this pair today. Will it always hit TP first trade ? No. So knowing this, I need more trades up my sleeve to make profit. More trades = more DD = More equity. But also = More profit overall. My trades on new $25k acc. 133 trades @ 73.68% win rate. I understand I will win about 70% of the time. And I am steadily growing the acc. So I am confident that this strategy works over a longer time period. My trading view indicators also show predicable patterns. How often does it stay between lines ? What happens when it hits upper/lower lines ? How long until it reaches the mean line ? What happens if I trade with or against the trend lines ? Should you chase losing trades out of revenge ? No But if its part of a winning strategy then, Yes. (that the important factor) Use the indicators provide to gauge your win % and build a strategy behind it. This might mean making bigger SL or Shorter TP or lower/bigger lot sizes. The whole package needs to be a repeatable system. And even better based around a particular pair. Knowing what is normal behavior. What time frame on chart, What time of day (session) is best etc.
