If you saw my post about a week or so ago, I got my first property under contract as a sub to. Everything looked great on the surface like it would be a perfect addition to any investors portfolio. After sending the info to title and learning the property had a few liens, i kept pushing forward to get all my ducks in a row and see if there was still a way to not only secure an assignment but help this seller out of such a difficult situation.
First lien was about 18k planned on negotiating with the holder down to something reasonable.
second lien came in at 68k 🤮
I am going to have to cancel. It's taught me a lot and it's been challenging but these sorts of situations only work to make me stronger and more resilient. We'll keep plugging away and get something done. 🫡
