I’m excited to be able to post now after leveling up — appreciate being here.
Quick question: has anyone else noticed SMS opt-out rates increasing lately? I’ve never had this issue until the past couple weeks and I’m trying to figure out what changed (iPhone update? carrier filtering? platform changes?).
Here’s what I’m running into:
- My opt-out rates have been noticeably higher
- I’ve been suspended twice in the past week due to opt-out rate thresholds (which hasn’t happened to me in a long time)
- I’m already taking list hygiene seriously:
Even after all that, it still feels like:
- a lot of numbers are inactive/disconnected
- opt-outs are coming in at a much higher rate than normal
If anyone has advice on:
✅ reducing opt-out rates
✅ improving list quality beyond validation
✅ best practices for bulk SMS (warm-up / pacing / copy, etc.)
…please drop your suggestions. Also, if someone’s open to it, I’d love to jump on a quick call to compare workflows and make sure I’m not missing something.
