Recently, I evaluated a patient who came to me years ago when she first hurt her back, she did not want to work with me as it was too expensive. I tried to get her to a PT that does my methods but she went down her own path.
She came back to me years later and said I have been to so many PTs and you were the only one that knew what was wrong, so I am back and I have spent more than what it costed to see you! I knew this would happen and I try to filter out people that just hurt themselves a few months ago with my marketing system. In order to go out of network and pay a premium, they usually have to have failed multiple providers. She wasn't ready.
I had her out of LBP and groin pain immediately both visits. She had SI referring into her groin. When she told the therapist my back and groin hurts she said the PT laughed and said that's not possible. I showed her a map of the SI referred pain and said we learned this in school, sorry that happened.
She had an upslip, out flare B, and a sacral rotation. I put her on my SI protocol and stabilized her sacrum and she was better in 8 weeks or so. No LBP or groin pain.
Always screen the SI for any symptoms from lower thoracic into the foot including weakness! You will shocked what you find!
