New Moon Wednesday March 18
The new moon in the Nakshatra of Uttara Bhadra on March 18 marks the start of the new solar lesson cycle of Pisces, the sign of illusion, detachment, and Moksha. Pisces can be a dreamy area of the sky, where we can learn to allow and let go, but typically, it’s painful when we realize the only control we have is to surrender.
Saturn is lurking nearby in the same sign; his influence can be felt strongly, as he also rules the nakshatra, Uttara Bhadra. The last new moon was in Aquarius, ruled by Saturn, so his harsh lessons are continuing into this new cycle, where we must face our new reality as the old world dissolves.
