Eclipse Season Starts February 10
This eclipse season brings a powerful solar eclipse on February 17 in Aquarius, in the nakshatra of Dhanishta. This energy amplifies collective willpower and propels us toward equality and justice. Dhanishta, symbolized by the drum of creation, is where we awaken higher awareness and activate kundalini energy through disciplined, consistent action. Rahu shows where we are obsessed, and Aquarius focuses on social justice and standing up to power. Two weeks later, the lunar eclipse arrives on March 3 in Leo, in the nakshatra of Purva Phalguni, a time to fulfill earthly desires. In the myth, our eyes are poked out so we may truly see what matters and awaken to love. Ketu is where we are disgusted, pointing to opposition to governments and leaders. The depraved, sick lifestyles of the elites will be seen as disgraceful, especially when compared to the disparity and deprivation across the world. We are watching the unraveling of the hierarchy as the tides turn towards the interest of the people. Saturn is in Pisces, forcing us to face our illusions, and Jupiter is retrograding in Gemini, guiding us to question our beliefs. This perfect storm allows the powerful men who have run the world for decades to be taken down as the truth buries them. Personally, connect with what matters, and remember that material comfort at the cost of others is empty. As the moon wanes and we lose its light, our agni diminishes. We can align our eating habits with the phases of the moon to improve digestion and nutrient absorption. A woman’s menstrual cycle resembles the phases of the moon. During ovulation, like the full moon, digestion is strong; during menstruation, like the new moon, digestion wanes. If a woman’s menstrual cycle and moon cycle are not synced, there will be opposing energies, but she will want to align her eating with her own moon cycle.
