Specific Risks Related to Brain UseThe US Pro 2000 is explicitly not intended for use on the head or face, as noted in manufacturer guidelines. Applying ultrasound to the brain could result in serious risks, including:
Thermal damage: Localized heating could harm sensitive brain tissue.
Cavitation: Formation and collapse of microbubbles in brain tissue or blood vessels could cause microhemorrhages or disrupt neural structures.
Neurological effects: Unintended stimulation of brain regions could lead to seizures, cognitive changes, or other neurological disturbances.
