less migraines! + questions about overstimulation & spleen
after 7ish weeks of daily vagal nerve stimulation via the neck, the biggest change i've experienced is drastically reduced migraine frequency! i went from having migraines several times per week, and since starting ultrasound i've had maybe 4 total! curious if others have had similar experiences?
i will say, i did kind of go rogue after watching the initial videos...i started with just a few min/day but now do like10-15 min/day at medium/high setting on the US PRO 2000. i haven't noticed a substantial change in anxiety, POTS symptoms or ME/CFS symptoms, which i'm really hoping for. i was just rereading some of the guides and am now wondering if i might be overstimulating by doing 10-15 min per day on the left side of neck on medium/high settings? should i scale back?
lastly, i just tried the spleen for the first time (2ish min on the low setting)! though i will admit, even though i watched the instructional video and did some of my own research, it's hard knowing if i've got the right spot! any extra tips for ensuring i'm in the right place? would also love to hear about people's experiences with spleen stimulation, especially if it's been helpful for chronic illness symptoms!
