YAP Fitness, why?
hi ladies 🤍 i’m kira, and i created YAP: your accountability partner Fitness because i know firsthand how hard it is to stay consistent when you feel like you’re doing it alone. my fitness journey has not been linear. i’ve been overweight, underconfident, stuck, motivated, burned out, disciplined, and everything in between. i lost over 160 pounds across years of trial, setbacks, learning, and rebuilding my relationship with my body, food, and movement. fitness didn’t change my life overnight, but consistency did. along the way, i realized accountability was the missing piece for so many women. not pressure. not shame. not comparison. real support. someone checking in. someone noticing when you show up. someone reminding you that you don’t have to be perfect to keep going. i created this group to be the space i wish i had earlier in my journey. a community where women at any stage can feel supported, encouraged, and empowered. whether you’re just starting, getting back into it, or leveling up, you belong here. this group is about progress over perfection, strength in all forms, and showing up for yourself with support behind you. i’m so glad you’re here, and i can’t wait to grow together. 💪✨

What’s your go-to beverage
i’ll be honest: i’m absolutely one of those girls who has three or four different beverages a day. sometimes two at the same time. 😅 for me, making healthier choices doesn’t mean cutting things out. it means choosing drinks that don’t add empty calories to my daily allotment. my go-to low-calories drinks right now: • coke zero • alani • sugar-free lemonade what about you? what’s your favorite drink lately, and is it sugar-free? 👇 drop it in the comments and let’s swap ideas
What’s your go-to beverage
Ok but tomorrow is actually the first Monday of the year.
New planners are open. Alarms are set. Motivation is high. Translation: the gym might finally be packed. If you go, remember: • You don’t need to do everything • You don’t need a perfect workout • You just need to show up And if the gym feels overwhelming, that’s normal. Everyone there is starting something or restarting something. Check in below: Are you lifting, walking, resting, or just mentally preparing?

january 2 check-in ✨
new year energy is fun, but january 2 is where things actually start. today isn’t about going all in or being perfect. it’s about choosing one small action that supports the version of you you’re building this year. maybe that looks like: • a short walk • drinking more water • hitting protein • stretching for 5 minutes • showing up even when motivation is low consistency is built on boring days, not just hype days. reflection prompt: what is one habit you want to practice consistently this month, not perfectly, just consistently? drop it in the comments. accountability starts here 🤍
slow saturday check-in ☁️
today isn’t about doing more. it’s about doing what actually fills your cup. maybe that looks like • sleeping in • a long walk with no pace goal • stretching instead of lifting • journaling, reading, or sitting in silence • fueling your body without tracking every bite progress doesn’t disappear just because you rest. rest is part of the process. use today to listen to your body instead of arguing with it. comment below what does your version of a slow saturday look like today 🤍
