Support, Understanding, and 1:1 Connection
Hi everyone, I wanted to share that I offer 1:1 peer coaching and connection sessions for anyone in this community who wants deeper, more personal support. There is a cost to these sessions, and I’m happy to work with you around that—if this is something you feel called to explore, we can talk about what’s possible. I’m a certified Peer Support Specialist, I work on a warm line, and I hold additional coaching certifications. But more than anything, I want to be clear about this: I am one of you. I have lived through psychiatric incarceration. I understand, firsthand, what it feels like to lose control, autonomy, and trust in yourself and your environment. I also want to acknowledge that I’ve had a recent hospitalization experience as well—so this work is not something I do from a distance, but from within lived experience. What we are building here is not centered on the hospital itself. It is about the system that impacts us. It is about the trauma that comes after. It is about what it means to carry experiences of being forcibly hospitalized, restrained, dismissed, medicated, or mistreated—and how that can affect your sense of safety, identity, and trust. In our work together, I can support you in: - Rebuilding a sense of internal safety - Processing emotions that come with loss of control and autonomy - Navigating anger, grief, fear, confusion, and disconnection - Reconnecting with your voice, your body, and your sense of self - Feeling less alone in what you’ve been through This is not about “fixing” you. It’s about supporting you in caring for yourself in ways that feel grounded, supportive, and real—especially when things feel overwhelming. It’s also about recognizing that if the system does take hold again, you deserve to have support. You deserve to be met by people who understand. You deserve spaces where your experience is believed, not dismissed. You are not alone in this. If you’re interested in 1:1 support, feel free to reach out to me and we can talk about what that would look like.
