Unlock the Psych Ward Doors — T-Shirt Design
This is the first Unlock the Psych Ward Doors shirt I ever made 🤍
I’ve created a lot of new designs since then, but I haven’t printed them onto shirts yet—I’m still working on bringing them to life.
I actually wore this shirt to a mental hospital once. The staff got a laugh out of it, but many of the patients seemed so worn down by the system that the idea of rebellion didn’t feel uplifting to them. That was really heartbreaking to witness.
This design has meant a lot to me in my journey of turning experience into expression, and I’m grateful for what it represents 🤍
