An Interesting Theory
Have you ever wondered how all this power came to be compiled and solidified in a religious construct such as Christianity, in particular, the Catholic church of Rome? I want to offer you a video I came upon that absolutely changed my whole perspective on religious history! The video is about an hour long, but worth every minute to watch it. It sent my head spinning to think that 2000 years of history might be built on the most brilliant story ever sold! The Bible! This video was produced by Joseph Atwill and his theory presents that the Roman leaders of the time had orchestrated ru.ors of a messiah that the Hebrews could cling to during a time when they wished to uprise against Rome in Jerusalem. This theory shows a series of events taking place during the time of the year zero on to the year 70CE. It explains a type of writing used in the gospels called typography, and shows the comparison of the Old Testament writings as compared to the story of one Titus Flavius and how they believe his story was the model for the story that formed around the pilgrimage of Jesus. Ceasar's Messiah! Click the link and prepare to have your mind blown! https://youtu.be/zmEScIUcvz0?si=vIMUXQnYlIJdH9ml

Heathenry vs. Paganism
The Heathen vs. Pagan Debate and how both parts of this are a whole we are misunderstanding in a big way today! I have often come across the question as to the difference between these terms. Of course, original meanings from the past don't exactly hold up in modern definitions. Pagan originated from the term Paganus which roughly translated in modern terms to a hillbilly. Yep! Lol Today we clearly have a different meaning for it. It is associated with the idea of multiple deities. Polytheism. A non-Abrahamic, nature based range of ideologies. It came about as a sort of snap back at Christianity, using a term that was meant to make people seem simple, and actually becoming something quite complex and rebellious as it ever was to the idea that any singular deity supersedes all else in the universe. Paganism is a network. People we would call Pagans back in the days before Empirical rule dominated and forced religious conversion, their worldview was so very different. Part of our group's purpose is to help people wrap their mind around an entirely different construct. To see the world through Pagan eyes. No longer just a material world of things to use that somehow were all just made for humans! Ergo all the destruction, pollution, hoarding of resources.. We humans were part of an ecosystem once. We are part of an entire natural world and lived with it. And we were essentially better for it in so many ways. But we have separated ourselves from what we really are. Even as every scientific test will tell you, every single element your body is made up of the same elements the earth itself is made of, and your body is made up entirely of cells the same way everything else on this earth is, we still somehow keep thinking we aren't a part of it. And that is the detrimental part of a theological worldview that somehow makes humans more important than that. We have to rethink about what we are doing with our time here on this earth if we want to really solve some fundamental problems in ourselves. Much of today's misery and stress is because we are so very out of sync with nature. Some even fear it! And this is where we find the difference between what Paganism is and what Heahtenry is. Because heathens want to live fully off the land as their ancestors did. In nature and with nature. Fully immersed. Homesteading and farming and not relying on government constructs to live.

In the ancient days..
Much of what modern writings say about witchcraft and Paganism is very far off the mark of reality. TV witchcraft has become a fad. But the ancient people who once truly practiced their own unique customs and rituals were not fantasy. They were very real and they have left us monuments of incredible endurance and meaning behind all these years, thousands of years in some cases for us to still see a glimpse into what was. From Stonehenge to New Grange, to the Pyramids of Egypt and the colloseums of Rome. The ancient Pagans didn't call themselves Pagans of course, they were people who believed in a wide Pantheon of gods and goddesses. And they built those places to last with messages we are only just beginning to understand today! I encourage anyone with a passion for history and theology to step into this realm with me. I have been studying for years and have learned so much. I think these things are worth preserving and I think modern Pagans would benefit greatly from a deeper discussion about what our ancestors were trying to create for their people before Empires washed it all away. I think practitioners of magic would benefit greatly from a deeper discussion about real elements like understanding energy transference, animism, herbology, crystals, Tarot, runes, vision work, spirit communication and all that goes with it! Let's come together and talk about the magic we know we have inherited. The ancient whispers of our ancestors call to us..
