Meat is something almost everyone consumes daily but no one likes to think about what it takes for it to come to your plate. Whilst humans cry hearing the death of a hundred of their own or a few dogs we show zero care or remorse over the pain and killing of over 90 billion animals each year. We excuse this behavior by claiming superiority over earth, but does this mean we can cause 2 trillions of fish yearly pain? And if you do not believe the fact that animals experience pain, fear and a need to survive whilst being slaughtered then please pick up a biology book and try punching yourself. After all we are all animals, humans are still animals which learned to change the environment around them, but does that mean that we are the overlords of the earth? Would you really hunt, slaughter, skin and then gut an animal yourself just to eat meat? Posting this I do not expect to turn anyone vegan but I do hope at least some of you think before buying meat, or any animal products. This post was inspired by the movies "Earthling" and "Dominion" which show the animal product industry from the inside.
