Do techs control their day — or does dispatch?
Just joined — been around the home services space for a bit but trying to learn more about what the day-to-day actually looks like for techs in the field. Simple question: how many jobs are you realistically running in a day?

Threading black pipe
How to thread black pipe with an automatic threader 1. Get measurement of piece you need. Lets say face to face of a 90 is 10 inches. ( I’ll cut ~11 inches for the threads ) 2. Cut piece with a bandsaw or with a handheld pipe cutter 3. Insert piece into a pipe vise and secure. 4. Spray cutting oil onto end of pipe for lubrication 5. Insert end of threader 6. put hand on threader for back pressure 7. pull the trigger so the wheel is spinning clockwise 8. Continually spray cutting oil onto the pipe through the die (the die is the piece that comes out and can determinate the pipe size. 1/2 pipe so a 1/2 pipe die.) 9. Thread in ~3/4 of an inch onto the pipe and remove the threader. 10. Flip pipe and do again to other side
