Marathon noob seeking advice 😂🐽
Hey loco pals!!
I am registered for my first ever marathon, The Flying Pig!!
When I registered, they asked for my estimated finish time which I based off my current training and pace…which put me in corral B, and now they’re asking for “proof of time” via a URL. I figured *oh well maybe they’ll just put me in whatever corral they think and I won’t have to worry about it*, but they’ve now sent a total of 4 emails of the matter.
All I have is 70.3 tri or DU times 😂 I’ve never done a marathon or even a half marathon so I don’t know where a URL even comes from? do the corrals even matter? or can I just show up and run the damn thing? Corral C or D or even H sounds like I get to sleep in a little more? I will most definitely not podium and I’m not going for a PR or anything crazy, but I also don’t want to have to obstacle course around people the whole race.
anyway….
does it ever matter?
thanks!
