The Tip:
Before you leave, screenshot everything you’ll need offline—boarding passes, hotel/cruise confirmations, transfer details, luggage tags, rail tickets, attraction QR codes, and maps/directions. Put them in one album called “Trip – Offline” so if the app logs you out or Wi-Fi ghosts you, you’re still golden. Bonus: add your passport photo page + emergency contacts (stored securely) so you have numbers if your bag or phone case card pocket goes MIA.
How to do it in 60 seconds:
- Open each confirmation → screenshot.
- Open Google/Apple Maps → download offline map of your destination.
- Create album “Trip – Offline” → drop all screenshots in.
- Add hotel address in local language (concierge card or notes).
- Save a photo of your checked bag (helps if it wanders off).
Pro Moves:
- Cruisers: Screenshot your boarding arrival time, muster info, deck plan, and any excursion QR codes.
- International: Screenshot currency cheat sheet + airport train directions.
- Families/Groups: AirDrop the album to your travel buddy so at least two people have everything.
