Do our actions really make a difference?
This morning Arnie and I discussed Proverbs 3:18-35 which covers so many of these different ideas around how we should walk out life and hold different things in tension. It talks about how God founded the earth through wisdom, it talks about the destruction of the wicked, it talks about trusting in the Lord, humility, and taking action.
Verse 25 -27 says:
You need not be afraid of sudden disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked, for the Lord is your security. He will keep your foot from being caught in a trap."
Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when its in your power to help them.
Even these 3 verses hold some real keys for us
1) Dont be afraid of sudden disaster
2) Trust the Lord and make him your security
3) Dont just sit back and be passive, we are actually called to be a light and to take action no matter whats going on around us.
God has called us to steward what he's given us, and be a light to the world around us.
