Training timeline for a comp.
Hello fellow lifting enthusiasts. Curious to what people find their optimal competiton training timeline. Is it 4 weeks leading into a comp? 6, 8 or 10 weeks out? How different are you lfting initially to the competition?
100kg stone to shoulder x7
Didn’t quite hit my goal of eight reps, but I’m not disappointed. Strength and fitness was there, the stone was hurting when it touched my ear, so much that my body started to move a lot slower at the top portion of the lift. I didn’t need to do any reps in order to win the comp, so my motivation was really relying on a personal goal that I had set. Anyway, I managed to take first place in the under 90s at yesterday’s Comp! I’ll be making more videos on how to train for future competitions, would anyone be interested in a stone to shoulder tutorial video?

Do I have what it takes to hit 8 in 60 seconds on comp day!? 🤞

3 days out from my next competition!
Which means 3 full days of rest, no training. Anyone else competing at Battle In The Bay? I’ll be making my next video next week, how I’d train for round 3 of the Victorian strongman series. I’ve begun using a new idea/model for training which I’ll also share with you all 💪🏼
