Quick Update on GBPCHF Trade — Broker Spread Differences

Quick transparency update on last night’s GBPCHF trade.

The algo itself didn’t hit stop loss — in Backtester 2.0 you can see the level held. However, since many of you are running trades on different prop accounts/brokers, wider spreads may have caused early closes for some accounts.

This isn’t an issue with the strategy — just differences between brokers. One tip here: if your broker’s spreads are high during changeover periods (like around 10pm on Oanda), you can manually exit and re-enter the trade to avoid getting clipped.
