Turning Disabilities Into Priorities (Instead of Problems)
Hello awesome people,
As you probably know based on my previous post & video, I recently had a conversation with a friend named Greg Garrett. He’s a coach who mixes business insight with a deep spiritual approach to life. During our chat, he said something that completely changed how I look at my own situation.
He said, “A yogi never sees a problem. The yogi just sees a priority.”
That really hit me. It made me think that maybe what we call disabilities aren’t just problems to fix. Maybe they’re accelerators, pushing us to grow in ways we never would have otherwise.
For me, tinnitus and hearing loss have forced me to build patience, focus, and emotional strength. They’ve become unexpected teachers in my life.
And this isn’t just about hearing issues. It could be anything — chronic pain, anxiety, mobility challenges, whatever makes life harder. If we can start seeing these things as priorities instead of punishments, something shifts inside us.
I wanted to share the video of my conversation with Greg because I think it can inspire anyone who’s ever had to fight through something tough.
I'd love to get your feedback after watching this video! Did it help you see your own disability/challenge in a different light?
Yours truly, 🙏❤️
Guy.
